900N SPECIALTIES

The Surgery Center at 900 North Michigan Avenue (the "Center") currently provides peri-operative care to ambulatory adult, geriatric and pediatric patients.

Surgical services include, but are not limited to:

Bariatric Surgery,
Gastroenterology (G.I.),
General surgery
Gynecology
Infertility (IVF)
Neurosurgery
Ophthalmology
Orthopedic surgery
Otolaryngology (ENT)
Pain management
Plastic surgery
Podiatry
Urology

Additional Information

The patients served include residents of Chicago and its suburbs, as well as individuals who travel to the Center domestically and internationally.

The Center currently offers access to:

five (5) fully-equipped Operating Rooms
two (2) procedure rooms
nineteen (19) Recovery Rooms

X-ray services and biomedical engineering are provided "on-call" by independent contractors.

Your Visit

SCOPE OF SERVICES

CLIA-Waived Testing – urine pregnancy testing, blood glucose testing, and blood hematocrit testing as needed.

EKG – as needed

Nursing assessment and therapeutic modalities including medication administration and pain management.

Anesthesia - The anesthesia services are provided exclusively by Ambulatory Anesthesiologists of Chicago (AAOC), a group of ambulatory-only specialty anesthesiologists. AAOC is an independent contractor of the Center, and the anesthesiologists are not employed by the Center. Within AAOC there is significant experience in the management of all ambulatory surgical and bariatric patients with the requisite skills for such specialized care.

STAFF

Our Team

Our nursing staff includes Registered Nurses (R.N.s) and surgical technicians. All of our nurses are trained in ACLS and BLS with many of our nurses also trained in PALS. Our nursing staff has an average of 20 years experience. Our hiring and training process ensures a very compassionate, caring and conscientious staff that is highly experienced in the outpatient setting.

The Center has a full time Medical Director. Anesthesia services are provided exclusively by Ambulatory Anesthesiologists of Chicago (AAOC) through an independent contractor agreement. AAOC is a group of ambulatory-only specialty anesthesiologists. The AAOC serves the full range of surgical specialties operating in the ASC environment. Currently, the facility works with approximately twenty anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists ready to serve our patients and physicians.
